Is it hot in here to you? Some of us prefer regular heat styling as a means to manage our hair easily throughout the week. Whether you use a comb, flatiron, rollers, or blowdrying, the many forms of heat styling available offer some variety depending on the desired results. I, personally am not well-versed with using these tools on my own but I have made it a mission to practice! I prefer my hair being stretched so I can pull it into a high bun. That, and a high puff are my go-to styles. My hair was thriving the most when I alternated between a high puff & a top knot and left it alone. When people express how stressed they get when managing their natural hair, I feel for them. So many people think shouting at us about how we lack proper technique as opposed to offering knowledge. So, in the spirit of sharing information, I hope this post is helpful for you!
Even though your hair still grows being damaged by heat, there as significant changes that happen in the structure of your strands as a result. Being proactive to protect your hair from heat damage encourages healthy growth and length retention.
