Bèl Ren was born out of a desire to connect with heritage while also caring for our natural hair in a healthy informed way. My mother & I deliberately beginning our natural hair journeys 2010 and 2011 respectively brought on the intention of educating ourselves on the structure, science and properties of our hair types. Years of research and application of knowledge led to sharing our knowledge with our family which subsequently lead to the requests of consistent production of these products that promoted such favorable results. Knowing the beauty industry is so vast does not intimidate us; that fact simply emphasizes the importance of our company in the natural hair care space. Our products are developed with the knowledge of how each ingredient will benefit the hair and the skin. Each ingredient is intentionally chosen to serve a purpose to alleviate fillers while also being optimally effective.
Even with all that formality, there still exists an aura of ease and intimacy in the brand and how we hope to present to you, our customer base. In the coming weeks, Bel Ren will be executing our Founder’s Day campaign to introduce the intention behind why we do this work. We will share education, uniquely developed products, inclusive messaging and community involvement. We appreciate you being on this journey with us and look forward to showing you the great things to come from it.
